Ugonna Ojinnaka issues vote of thanks over late dad’s burial.

The first son of the late Prince Paul Ofotukwe Ojinnaka, Prince Ugonna Ojinnaka has issued a vote of thanks to all the individuals and groups who participated before, during and after the burial of his late dad who was buried yesterday being 24 August 2023. In a voice message sent to Umuaka Times by Prince Ugonna Ojinnaka n behalf of the family, he first thanked the Parish Priest of St Mary’s Catholic Church Rev Dr. Martins Egwuogu and Rev Father Izuchukwu Ibe, as well as Rev Father Chidube Ukanero.

The first group that got a mention in the message is the organization of Ndi Nnaoma Di Ebube of Orlu Diocese. According to him, the group was adequately represented by her members during the burial of his late dad. Another group he thanked was the Christian Fathers Association of St Mary’s Church for her role. He also thanked the Catholic Women Association of St Mary’s Uba, Umuonyiriegbe family union, Uba general assembly, G-23 Old Boys Association of St Saviour’s College Umuaka, Umuezikoha Youths Association, Umuada Umuezikoha and Umuada Uba as well as in-laws, from Ekwe, Umuezeala Uba, Calabar, Akwa Ibom State and many more others too numerous to mention.


Prince Ugonna thanked Mr Sacra Okoro for organizing a football match in memory of and honour of his late father who so much loved football. In his conclusion, Prince Ugonna Ojinnaka thanked all the persons or group of persons who took part in one way or another during the burial of his late father. He prayed to God continue to bless everybody who abandoned whatever engagement of the day he or she had to come and pay the last respect for his late father. He asked God to continue to bless and protect them while going home to their respective homes.
