Umuisii community thanks Bob Dike over solar energy gift.
2 min readThe Umuisii community of Umuezeala Uba Umuaka in Njaba LGA has paid a courtesy visit to Chief Bob Dike to thank the philanthropist over the gift of solar energy he installed in the community. The event which took place on January 8 2023 was held in the country home of Chief Dike who is also an engineer and a top community leader in Umuaka.
The Umuisii group which included Chief Vitalis Amakodike, Chief Stephen Ebele and Chief Innocent Onwukwe and a host of others, demonstrated how happy the indigenes of the community and their tenants have been since the solar energy electrification program by Chief Dike began early last year.
Also in the group was Mr Chidi Jinali, the chairman of Umuisii general assembly who spoke on behalf of Umuisii general assembly and thanked Chief Dike for the kind gesture.
Mrs Cecilia Obiechefu, a top official of Umuisii women group, led other women numbering up to two as they all participated in the visit. During her speech, Mrs Obiechefu equally took time to explain how happy the Umuisii women have been since the installation of the solar energy in the community. She prayed to God to continue to bless the Umuisii people as he has usually done. She assured the gathering that the Umuisii women will continue to remember them in their daily prayers.
In his response, Chief Bob Dike thanked the Umuisii executives who initiated the visit and equally extended the vote of thanks to Umuisii elders for taking out their time to pay him such a remarkable visit. He noted that all the praises and thanks would go to God Almighty for his wisdom and love for the Dike family and the entire Umuisii community. He used the opportunity and tasked the visitors to remind their children especially those from the ages of 17 to 28 to always show good examples to their younger ones and jettison violence, drug use and social vices.
