“Why I joined Labour Party.” T.J Ehirim.

Frontline runner for Imo State governorship seat come 2024, Dr T.J Ehirim has explained why he left All Progressives Grand Alliance APGA and joined the Peter Obi-led Labour Party, Imo State chapter. While answering questions from an Umuaka Times reporter in Owerri last weekend, the youthful politician Dr T.J. Ehirim, confirmed that he had registered with Labour Party for long and what he did last week was to officially disengage from APGA in grand style.”What we did was to make a donation to the party by donating an 18 sitter bus for the Obi-Datti presidential campaign and disengage from APGA officially.”

Giving further details, Ehirim disclosed that he joined the Obi team because Obi is desirous of making Nigeria great again. He described Obi as honest, intelligent and above all, uncorrupt and a man with deep fear of God.


Dr Ehirim also confirmed to Umuaka Times that he is a member of Obi-Datti Presidential Campaign Committee. He used the opportunity and appealed to Nigerians to stand up and give every support they have to Peter Obi so as to take back the country from political criminals.

On his disengagement from APGA, Umuaka Times gathered that he organized a disengagement event where APGA members gathered and they all ate and drank together before he announced his resignation from the party. He thanked them for all their support and urged them to join hands with Labour Party and build a prosperous Nigeria.

Dr TJ Ehirim is a South African based pharmacist who has created a lot of impact in Imo State for his ambition in 2024 to emerge the next governor of the state under Labour Party.
