Pa Amaefule Akubiro dies at 91.

The family of Akubuiro in Umuehiri Umuele Amazano Autonomous Community of Njaba LGA Imo State has announced the passing away of their father, uncle. grandfather and son, Pa Amaefule Akubiro. According to the first son of the deceased, Mr Amuche Akubuiro, his late father, Pa Akubuiro died on October 17, 2022 after a brief illness. The remains of the late Amaefule Akubuiro have been deposited at the mortuary. The family is yet to announce the date for the burial.
From the dependable family sources Umuaka Times spoke with, the late Akubuiro died at the age of 91. During his time, he was a building contractor and later diversified into security business. As a security expert, he was in charge of the security in Umuele for a long period of 15 years.
Following his efficient security services in the community, Umuele sons and daughters in Diaspora once presented him with a merit award of excellence in security services.
When Umuaka Times visited the family last week, mourners and sympathizers were still visiting the family to confirm if what they heard was true or not.
Pa Akubuiro will be remembered for his fearlessness in settling communal disputes in his community.
