Pastor George Izunwa rescues 3 students from financial burden.

The Lead Pastor of Port Harcourt based Gateway International Church; Pastor George Izunwa recently put a huge smile on the faces of some students of River State University (RSU) located in Nkpolu-Oroworukwo, in Port Harcourt. The students who faced serious financial difficulties towards their academic careers were in a state of despondency when help finally came from Pastor George Izunwa.
A couple of weeks ago, the famous George Izunwa Foundation held its annual medical outreach in Port Harcourt. It was during this outreach that the students, three in number were identified and assisted by the pastor through one of the programs of the foundation.
Pastor Izunwa who is a page one advocate of academic excellence and a famous philanthropist used the opportunity of the outreach and lifted the students from their financial difficulties. Several efforts by Umuaka Times reporter who monitored the event proved abortive as at press time last week.
While speaking with some members of the George Izunwa Foundation, the organizers of the medical outreach in Umuaka, there were several positive indications that the program will come alive in Umuaka once again as the security situation in the state is gradually coming to normalcy.
