Umuaka Times newspapers has commended the bravery of Obinwanne security outfit for the successful role it played concerning the crowd control mechanism the outfit employed during the last week burial of an Obinwanne youth who was murdered by some state security forces a couple of months ago. From the onset, Umuaka Times observed with keen interest, the strategy employed by the outfit during the burial which was able to maintain orderliness throughout the entire hours the burial ceremony lasted.
It is on record that about 3,000 mourners were present during the burial of Onye Ego last week and there was no story of theft or violence. Had it not been the effective and collaborative efforts of an outfit like Obinwanne security organization, it would have been a very serious matter controlling the crowd. Mourners confirmed that there was no trouble of any form or social disorganization, reckless motorcycling or car racing.
The Obinwanne youths and their friends from and outside Umuaka Municipal Council really behaved well during the burial of Onye Ego. That is the only way to bade good bye to a gentle man of Onye Ego status.
