The Program Manager of the NGO, Engineer Chize Amadi who led the intervention program last week both in Port Harcourt and Imo State told Umuaka Times that the need for the program was necessary because most of the girls due to lack of funds had no access to sanitary pads and as a result, they usually made use of rags, tissue papers and other clothing materials during this dangerous periods of their lives.
