Emma Iheme announces N300,000 to support church projects.
1 min readFor the love of their mother, the children of the late Mrs Lolo Nneoma Anesthesia Iheme whose remembrance service was held last week had pledged to support the projects going on at St Joseph’s Catholic Church Isiozi with the sum of N300,000.
This donation was announced during the church service and prayer session held in the church for the soul of Mrs Lolo Nneoma Anesthesia Iheme.
Shortly before the Mass came to an end, the priest called if any member of the family would like to say anything. Chief Emma Iheme stood up and went straight to the microphone and greeted the church. He first thanked all and sundry who left all their personal engagements of that day in order to come and stay with the family. He asked God to protect them and their families in the remaining days of 2021 and the new year.
He finally announced a donation of N300,000 to support the ongoing projects in the church.
In his response, the Parish Priest, Rev Father Igwegbe thanked the family and directed how the money should be spent. He took the opportunity and called upon others present in the church to support the family and many people came out and demonstrated their support financially. At the end of the service, everybody went to the Iheme’s ancestral home for reception.
