HRM Eze Justin Uzoma Ezeala, the royal father of Obinwanne Umuaka Autonomous Community as his name implies, does only one thing. He shows people the good road (uzo oma) and nothing more. Below is a catalog of his charity activities both as a royal father and as a philanthropist that won him the prestigious Umuaka Times Man of the Year Award and the Imo State Royal Father of the Year Award both in 2022. Recall that he won the Imo State Royal Father of the Year in 2021.
Trained and empowered over 50 young men and women in various crafts and established businesses for them ranging from photography, computer engineering, make-up artistry, catering services to hairdressing and more.
Under the watch of Eze Justin Ezeala, St Patrick’s Station was elevated to a Parish status. He single handedly built the residence of the priest and donated a brand new car to the parish.
Attracted his friends and colleagues who collectively donated the sum of N72 million towards the development of Obinwanne community especially on faith based activities.
Ezenwanne embarked on market development projects at Afor Umuaka where more than 129 shops were built thereby improving the location, quality, value of the market and creating employment for countless artisans and skilled workers.
Donated a Hilux van for Njaba Police Division and another Hilux for Obinwanne Umuaka vigilante group to improve the security of the community.
Dug borehole for Umuaka Divisional Police station. Supported different Umuaka communities in community building and donated N5 million to St Mary’s Church. Just few days to 2022 Christmas celebration, Ezenwanne donated N1 million to his 1982 set of Hold Boys Association High School Umuaka.
