High School Umuaka secures 5 NYSC teachers.

High School Umuaka located in the premises of Hilltop Primary School Uba has secured 5 youth corp members to add ot the number of teachers in the school. Speaking with an Umuaka Times reporter last week in a chance meeting, the principal of the school Mrs Okparaigwe MC, disclosed that she was successful to get 5 NYSC teachers posted in the school after she had made frantic efforts to the NYSC Imo State chapter.. According to her, the posting of the 5 teachers was a big relief for the school management and the students as well who have been schooling without the needed teachers..
For more than a year, the authorities of High School Umuaka have been complaining of lack of adequate teachers in the school. This ugly development made some parents to withdraw their children from the school. The new NYSC teachers will be taking the students on Basic Science, French language, Mathematics and Chemistry.
On another development, 4 permanent teachers were posted to the school but only one has reported to duty according to the principal. This development is not for the interest of the students of High School Umuaka.
For now, High School Umuaka located at the premises of Hilltop Primary School Umuaka is fully ready for academics and learning.
Mrs Okparaigwe MC used the opportunity and thanked the NYSC Imo State chapter for coming to the aid of the school and students. The 5 new teachers have since resumed work in the school which will come to an end after a period of one year.
