Njaba Nollywood actors form union.

A trade union which oversees the welfare and activities of Njaba born entertainers has been formed in Umuaka. The union known as Express Entrance Entertainment (EXENEN) was founded by Rev Emeka Ezekwem, a popular Akalite from Amakor who is an actor and a director in Nollywood. The organization is made up of entertainers such as footballers, actors and actresses, masters of ceremonies, dancers, musicians, disk jokers (DJs) and more.
When Umuaka Times called on the founder of the group, Rev Emeka Ezekwem a couple of weeks ago, he confirmed that the association has already formed its executives, board of trustees and general assembly. According to him, “EXENEN”, an abbreviation of Express Entrance Entertainment has two major faculties: Entertainment Academy: “This is where we train upcoming artists in acting, music, dancing, etc via the theoretical teaching of various entertainment courses and the rehearsal of various artistic departments.”
There is also Entertainment Production which is the area where production of movies, music and songs both audios & videos, dancing videos and other audios are carried out which includes drama stage, carnivals, stage shows and more.
EXENEN from what Umuaka Times gathered was born in 2021. The organization holds its meetings at Hilltop Primary School Uba Umuaka and new members are welcome. Already the organization is currently handling some home video productions within the locality.
