Children of God pay last respect to Mama Susan Unanma.

December 29, 20220 was a great day in Umuele Amazano Autonomous Community of Njaba LGA Imo State. On this s particular day, a woman of God who was the wife of a pastor, mother of a pastor and a bishop was laid to rest after her 81 years of eventful life on earth which she dedicated most of its part to the service of God.
The Unanma family and other family and church members left for Aladinma Hospital in the early hours of December 29 2022 to convey the corpse of Mama Susan Unanma to her home town Umuele. Many people who really wanted to join the motorcade from Umuaka could not meet up because those who left for the hospital went very early. After about 2 hours later, the journey home started in a motorcade. When the motorcade arrived Umuaka, there was a brief stopover in the family of the late Mrs Susan Unanma’s father in Umuasharam Ibeakpu. The Ibeakpu people welcomed them with open hands and in few minutes time, the ritual was over and to Umuele the motorcade headed for once again.
Around 10 am, the body arrived the Unanma family house and lying in state followed shortly. The Master of Ceremony, Chief Emma Okenwa announced the order to be followed for those who would like to take a look and pay their last respect to the remains of Mrs Unamna.
First, it was the immediate family that went in before other family relations etc took over. When the people were satisfied viewing the remains, the MC called upon the undertakers to get ready for the church service which took place at the premises of State Primary School Umuele. It was never difficult getting to the venue because of how organized the process was.
The church service really lasted for long with songs and praises and many other activities. The man of God who preached during the requiem service was the famous Bishop Nelson Nnanna. He touched a lot of issues but took enough time to talk about the lifestyle of the late Mrs Unanma. The Bishop tasked the children of God to always live upright the way the late Mrs Unanma lived her life.
By 1:30 pm, the congregation was back in the family compound for internment. Several men of God who came from far and wide were all present during this time. In about 30 minutes, the whole process was over; the remains of Mama Susan Ebere Unanma, a woman of God, married to a man of God and a trainer of men of God was buried. She was 81 years old.
