The monarch of Achara community otherwise known as Acharaji Akah Autonomous Community in Njaba LGA Imo State, HRH Eze Ken Eguzoroibe Uzoho has declared that he is the one and only authentic royal father of the community. Eze Ken Uzoho made the declaration during his speech presentation in his palace last week Monday on the occasion of the inauguration of the security outfit and the celebration of the victory of the unification of Acharaji Akah and Achara Umuaka communities as one. Before the royal father began his speech, he first appealed to the audience to permit him to stand up and address them. The permission was immediately granted and he went straight to the audience and began to speak on the activities that brought the community where it is today.
Eze Uzoho narrated how the community went to Owerri in search of the autonomy for the community. He told the audience that he was highly instrumental to the approval of the autonomous community of Achara. According to the royal father, Duruoji which is the first son of the community resolved to make Chief Okey Nwanyanwu the royal father of the community. Chief Nwanyanwu declined the offer, citing excuses that he was interested in politics and not in royal fatherhood. He then told the community that Chief Ken Uzoho, who was his master in business, should be considered for the position.
After Chief Uzoho emerged as the consensus candidate for the Achara ezeship, he went to Owerri with the whole valid documents where he properly crossed his “Ts” and dotted his “Is” and the autonomy for the community was granted.
The royal father finally disclosed to the audience how the Imo State Ministry of Chieftaincy Affairs wrote a letter and confirmed that the authentic autonomous community for the Achara people is Acharaji Akah Autonomous Community and the royal father is Eze Ken Uzoho. He accused Hon Bon Nnaka of writing a petition that sought to destabilize the Acharaji and give credit to Achara Umuaka. The monarch and his people eventually emerged victorious and Acharaji Akah Autonomous Community was created and endorsed by the then Imo State Government.
The royal father in an exclusive interview with Umuaka Times assured the people of Acharaji that Achara is one and his government will work together with all the parties in order to create a better Acharaji Autonomous Community.
