1 min readA 16 year old student of St Ursula’s Convent Secondary School Greenwich London UK of Umuaka origin, Miss Favour Nworji has broken an academic record in her school where she came out with an all A secondary school result. The parents of the girl got the great good news on Thursday last week.
When the Umuaka Times correspondent in the United Kingdom called on the father of the academic prodigy, Chief Obioma Nworji, he confirmed the news and concluded that Favour Stephanie Nworji got 7 A-Stars and three ordinary As. He disclosed to Umuaka Times that her result was the best at St Ursula’s Convent Secondary School Greenwich London.
The result in question shows the following: Chemistry A, Physics A, Biology A, Mathematics A, English A, English Literature A, Geography A, Art & Design A, Spanish A, Religious studies A.
While speaking to Umuaka Times, Chief Nworji confirmed that it was the handwork of God and several efforts made by the student, Favour Stephanie Nworji that saw her through.
Chief Nworji used the opportunity and appealed to the Nigerian government to invest in education and human capital development in the country. He lamented that over 10 million Nigerian students are out of school.
As at press time last week, Umuaka Times was yet to establish the course Favour Stephanie Nworji would like to read in the university. Umuaka Times congratulates the entire Obioma Nworji family for this great success.
